Situated in the Costa Tropical of Spain, Dive shack is in one of the top diving destinations in the whole of the Costa del Sol. Divers from all over Andalucia travel miles just to dive the wonderful dive sites of the Horseshoe bay known as La Herradura. Dive schools from Malaga, Estepona and Sevilla shuttle divers in minibuses to La Herradura as it is the best place in Southern Spain to dive.
There are around twelve well visited dive sites in the La Herradura area from the western side of Cerro Gordo to The Marina del Este on the eastern side of Punta de la Mona. The western side of La Herradura (Cerro Gordo) is also just inside the natural park that extends as far as Maro near Nerja.
Well explored dive sites include; Cueva del Luz, La Herradura playa (western side near Chambao de Vicente), Piedra del Hombre and the Marina playa on the eastern side of Punta de la Mona.
Some dive sites can be reached from the beach but most of the better site to dive can only be reached by boat, which we make possible with our RIB.
Dive Shack is a family-run Diving and Snorkeling club that is open to everybody. We love marine life no matter how big or small and hope that all that dive with us does too.
We cater for the individual and small groups because we believe that diving is personal and that the top priorities of diving are safety and having a great time.
